Insomnia

Neuropuncture for Insomnia aims to target GABA, Benzodiazepine, and M1 melatonin receptors in the central nervous system to reduce excitability in the brain.  Neuroregulation of these receptors is especially important for people who wish to come off medication that helps them sleep.  In this case, a course of acupuncture, twice per week for 4 weeks will have the best outcome.

For acute insomnia, one or two treatments may suffice.
