Conditions Treated by Acupuncture

Here are some conditions treatable with acupuncture. You are very welcome to email me if your health issue isn’t mentioned below, or if you have any queries.

Mental Health such as stress, depression, phobias, emotional disturbances, anxiety, and nervousness are one of my interests.

Musculoskeletal disorders respond very well to acupuncture.

Sporting injuries are REALLY frustrating. Acupuncture is useful to relax muscles, relieve inflammation and heal ligaments and cartilage.

Digestive system disorders such as bloating, pain, Irritable Bowel syndrome…

Women’s health problems – from periods through to menopause.

Neurological conditions such as headaches, Bells Palsy, dizziness……..

Urogenital disorders such as urinary tract infections and thrush/candida respond very well to acupuncture.

Eye conditions such as visual disorders, red, sore, itchy or watery eyes, conjunctivitis may all be treatable.

Cardiovascular disorders such as high or low blood pressure.

Genetic Testing is done via SmartDna in Australia.

Respiratory and Immune conditions such as sinus problems, hay fever, chronic cough, laryngitis and acute tonsillitis may all find relief. The common cold, sore throats and coughs along with the flu are very treatable with acupuncture. You should feel much better straight away. Bronchial asthma (there is an acupuncture point named ‘Stop Wheezing), and acute and chronic bronchitis are also treatable. Ear points are commonly selected to help with smoking cessation.

Skin conditions can sometimes be tricky but not impossible. It depends on how long you have had the condition and what has caused it. You are very welcome to email me if you have an inquiry. Research and my experience find that acne, scar tissue, and nerve rash are good to treat.  Herpes zoster and shingles can also benefit from acupuncture. Eczema, hair loss and dandruff may need needles and herbs to resolve

Addiction control, such as alcohol, food, nicotine, and drug addiction is usually treated with ear points. It takes the edge off your craving. Twice weekly treatments are recommended for the first 2 weeks. You can do it!
